Heat pulling away again. Let's see if Boston can respond again.

Alright. Let's just iron this out for the record. I'm rooting for the Celtics first and foremost. They're my team, and this is in all likelihood their last chance as contenders. I'm not that emotional about them at this point because I wrote them off as contenders once LeBron joined the Heat. I never once got my hopes up about them this year, so anything they do accomplish is gravy. Obviously I'll be hyped if they somehow win it all. It's not like 2008, where there was a lot riding on getting that championship, or 2010, where they had a chance for 2 rings in 3 years.

The reason I post so much more about the Heat is a) I want to see LeBron succeed, regardless of who he plays for, because he's an all-time talent and he gets way too much flak. And b) there's just a ton of intrigue and discussion to be had about them. They're the most polarizing team in the league. Not much to talk about on the Celtics front. We all know who they are. Doesn't help that the only Celtics fans here are me, Munro, Bogg and I think one other guy.

EDIT: I should also mention that I'm a fairweather Kings fan. So if by some miracle they start doing good next season and I'm acting happy about it, well, don't say I didn't warn you.

Battier you're the man right now. I guess you really want a championship.

Battier, Miller and Jones making a tremendous difference in this game. They have like 20 points combined.

Fair enough. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Nothing wrong with that answer at all.

So refreshing to actually see LeWade getting help from the supporting cast. Doesn't happen often.

So you're a front runner. Great way of disguising it. Basically, when the celtics got kg Allen and pierce together and became the favorites you were heavy into them, in 2010 when they were healthy you were into them. Now the heat is what's hot, so you want them to win. But if the clerics win, you'll be happy.

At least you admit being a fair weather kings fan. That's pretty lame overall. But I digress.

And he said it in Spanish, too, so he looked like an angry drug dealer in a Michael Mann film. GOOD! How’s that for the league’s image, Stern? You ****ing *******. His name is Brandon…he from Compton…he got rapper friends…and he’s your league’s next superstar. Cry!

Knicks fans, can you imagine what Jennings is going to do to you? He’s gonna be slicing through that defense like V for Vendetta. Then, after the game, he’s gonna slice through security and find Donnie Walsh and stab him in the damn heart.

I guess Kobe feels like averaging 30 again. At this point, he’s like Keanu at the end of the first Matrix. He became who he was supposed to be and now he’s just gonna do whatever he wants.

I'm a big, big Miami fan, so ... but I love entertaining games, and I'm thrilled when the Heat plays that lock down defense.
