2011: Mavs dominate Thunder/Heat smash Bulls
2010: Suns prove to be outgunned against Lakers/Celtics take their foot of the gas, but still edge Magic easily 2009: Nuggets outmatched by Lakers/Magic shoot Cavs home in a tight series 2008: Lakers handled Spurs with ease/Celtics win a physical war with the Pistons 2007: Spurs dominate Jazz/Lebron leads Cavs over Pistons in what still remains his best overall playoff series 2006: Dallas takes down Phoenix/Heat edge the Pistons in an ugly 6 games 2005: Spurs handle Suns/Pistons come from 3-2 down to edge Heat in the last 7-game conference finals series 2004: T-Wolves smothered by Lakers/Pistons beat Pacers in 6-game, low-scoring slugfest 2003: Spurs beat Dallas in a tight 6-games/Nets sweep Pistons in a laugher 2002: Kings beat Lakers in 6 and prove they are the better team/Nets slip buy Celtics in 6 games Wait what happened in game 6? The Lakers won in 7? ![]() Anyway, I think these final four series are the best since 2002 with the potential to be the best since the 80's if they both go 7 and stay tight.

Re: Most Competitive Final 4 Since...
It's close now. It's still possible that Miami wins out and makes it seem like it wasn't so close, or the Spurs do the same. Hopefully they stay competitive.

On the other hand I think Oklahoma which beat the Spurs. It will seem then that both teams (Thunder and Heat) are quite better than their opponents. But even so, we can not consider they swept their opponents. There has been some uncertainty (even if only at certain point, and not just before they started playing) as to which team would go through. But I really hope I am mistaken and either Spurs or Celtics (or both), at least win one of the following matches. Let alone to win the series (in the Thunder-Spurs 's case I deem it impossible). It's really exciting getting to watch KG, Durant, Ginobili, playing that well again! Go!xd
