Re: NBA Finals: #2 Miami Heat (0) vs. #2 Oklahoma City Thunder (0)
...why? They have a great coach, great veterans, they have one of the best PG's in the league. Bass started playing great. Them giving Miami a challenge is understandable.

Re: NBA Finals: #2 Miami Heat (0) vs. #2 Oklahoma City Thunder (0)
KD vs. Lebron is the best individual matchup in the finals since Hakeem and Shaq. This series is going to be insane. Both teams now that Bosh is back are really evenly matched

Re: NBA Finals: #2 Miami Heat (0) vs. #2 Oklahoma City Thunder (0)
I think the pain and experience from last year puts Miami over the less experienced Thunder. As good as OKC have been, the Heat will be really desperate to take care of business this time around.
I also look for Westbrook's struggles/success as a barometer for OKC. |

Re: NBA Finals: #2 Miami Heat (0) vs. #2 Oklahoma City Thunder (0)
I don't think we can compare The Heat's mentality last year in the Finals to the Thunders mentality this year. Two different teams composed of very different superstars. If you don't think the Thunder will not be ready mentally, you haven't been paying attention to the Thunder this year.
Everyone in the Pacific North West is pulling for the Thunder/Sonics. Last edited by 23AJ; 06-10-2012 at 10:02 AM. |

Thunder obviously have the mentality. They've gone through Dallas, LA Lakers and the Spurs already, how can people question if they have their heads screwed on?

Re: NBA Finals: #2 Miami Heat (0) vs. #2 Oklahoma City Thunder (0)
I picked the Thunder in six games, but the more I think about it, I can see this series going seven, and it' being essentially a 50/50 coin flip. I also could see this very match up happening a lot in the Finals for the next five plus years. Especially with the Thunder considering their youth. You might get a few teams squeaking in here and there (Chicago, LA, SA, Indiana) for a Finals. But you also might not. Heat/Thunder should be the most dominant teams for quite sometime in the NBA.

You really took the time out of your day to post an insult to somebody you don't know on the internet. You keep throwing negativity around and insults buddy, and I'll keep posting about the games.

I don't see you posting about games much. I must be missing it. Seems most of your posts are of the "I picked this team to do this! Its happening just like I said!" variety.

It's all good though AJ, you add character to this board. Don't change.

But I'm not going to pretend a team comprised of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh can't beat the Thunder. But just because they can, doesn't mean they will. I put my decision in the poll. Thunder in six. But we all have the right to talk about the game, and the more I think about the series, I could see it going seven, and coming right down to the wire. Hence me saying it's 50/50. But if I was to put money on it, I'm taking the Thunder for the chip this year. I'll be the first to own up, if I'm wrong, and give Miami their due. And regardless of who wins the chip this year, I believe this Finals has the potential to be something truly historic and special with the two best individual talents (in my opinion) with Durant/James. And two top five guys in Wade/Westbrook, if it lives up to the hype. |

And OKC is the best offensive powered team, and over all well balanced team Miami has faced. Sounds like a great series to me. Also change your AV from OKC to HEAT. We all know LeBron is your favorite player, and not Durant.

I think you've got the wrong guy there. Patches is a big Durant fan (and OKC).
