Good questions for Magic Johnson
Bit if a random thread this one....
I have an interview appointment with Magic on Monday morning which is mainly meant to be about the NBA finals. Looking for some good questions I could ask him apart from the usual boring stuff. Any good ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Good questions for Magic Johnson
What a great opportunity. A question I would always want to ask him (not NBA FInals related) is...
If you could assemble a starting 5 (including yourself) of any player in the history in the league, who would round out that starting 5? And the same question with current players. Some NBA Finals related ones... LeBron James obviously has a lot of pressure to win a championship. Do you think you winning a championship your rookie year did a lot in terms of relieving that pressure throughout your career? Have you ever felt as scrutinized as LeBron James is this day? Having 'choked' in the Finals before, what are your thoughts in terms of LeBron and the 4th quarter? Anything you learned or took away from the 1984 Finals? |

Re: Good questions for Magic Johnson
Amazing chance for you:
1) If you couldn't play and you had to pick one point guard (from any era) to run a team and win a do-or-die game who would you pick? 2) Do you think that with the proper coaching and in a different era Lebron James could have developed into a pure point guard like yourself? 3) If you had to take one thing from another player's game (current) and add it to your own what would it be? |

Re: Good questions for Magic Johnson
Ask him if the circumstances called does he think he would've been able to turn himself into a prototypical scoring wing...you know what I'm saying just pretty it up if you ask him
Or how well things would've gone for the Lakers and Celtics if he and Bird switched |

Re: Good questions for Magic Johnson
That's an interesting discussion, my guess is the Celtics would have fared much better, as they still had tremendous front-court depth whereas the Lakers were built around Magic running the show on the break.

Re: Good questions for Magic Johnson
Oh and ask him if he thinks he could thrive with any player. Like, players like Iverson and Francis and the old Kobe got a bad rap for being too selfish, but he's the ultimate team player. Are there players he legit thinks he wouldn't be able to win with/next to
