Question What do you make out of this?

Kobe Bryant: 10.7 FTA/game
Allen Iverson: 11.4
Dwyane Wade: 11
Paul Pierce: 10.3
LeBron James: 9.8 (will be in the 10s now after his 28 fta last game)
Gilbert Arenas: 9.8
Carmelo Anthony: 9.2

Chris Bosh: 8.5 - Chris Bosh has the highest free throw attemts average of any other big man in the league. Yes, higher than Shaq. Amare would probably hold this title in representation of the big men in the league if he wasn't injured. It seems that you need quickness and athleticism to get to the line in this era. Are the rules oriented to benefit perimeter play more b/c they're more flashy and entertaining to watch?

bronx43 made a good point in 1 of the threads about how guards dominate this era and I thought I would acknowledge him. Do guards or small forwards have it too easy? Should they go back to the old rules? What do you guys think?

I think they should lay off the touchy fouls on the perimeter. I think a forearm on the perimeter should be allowed as long as it never gets to two hands on the perimeter.

melo gets murdered a LOT more than bron and kobe...

AI seems to get murdered with no call, then get called on complete whiffs. very strange...

shaq still gets no love from the refs. no doubt he is the most raped player in NBA history...

If Thomas wants to stop people from running up the score on him, then he should have built a better club. He shouldn't have wasted all that money on illogical signings, outrageous trades and heartless characters.

No, Thomas and his guys weren't the only ones in the wrong Saturday. The Nuggets have their own issues. But when it was over, at least they weren't crying, at least they weren't punking.

It's all gone in New York now – the pride, the respect, the dignity. This isn't just a bad team; this is a bad act. A once proud franchise and fan base brought to its knees as its pathetic coach makes excuses and whines for mercy.

I agree. You can't get physical in the NBA anymore.

I simple tap on the arm is a foul!
