Who is the better PG today?

It's pretty close but I think it's Nash by a hair. Kidd is the better defender and the better rebounder but Nash is the better shooter and the better playmaker. Nash also has less help. Right now, only Shawn Marion is helping significantly. With the Nets, Kidd has Carter, Jefferson, and Krstic. Overall, it's Nash by a little bit.

Obviously Nash is the better shooter and scorer but Kidd is the better all round player

Over their careers Kidd has been better by a wide margin and Nash has only been comparable or better since he went to Phoenix.Personally I sort of think that Kidd is a little past his prime and I don't think the same is true of Nash.

However I don't think this question can be easily answered as the two are in such completely different circumstances.D'Antoni's offense was designed to make maximum use of Nash's talents and Nash has made this look like the idea of the century so far.The uniqueness of their system makes it incredibly difficult for opposing teams to get pace with them.

I don't think that the Nets use Kidd to the best of his capabilities as they really lack the depth and personell to attack relentlessly like they did earlier in his tenure with in N.J.Right now I'd have to give the edge to Nash,but not by a lot.
