I think they are 4 million under already, if they just renounce Eric William's bird rights. They could actually look for a player in the 4 million dollar range to trade away to match Boozer's contract.

The problem is that this best-case scenario is still based on moving Kerry Kittles' contract. There are deals being discussed with Cleveland and the Los Angeles Clippers, and the latter happened to lose its starting two-guard (Quentin Richardson) last week.

Clips are under the cap, so it's a way that the Nets could really save money by dealing Kittles. More than any deal with Cleveland.

Wilcox would be nice, cheap front court depth. Still a little raw at this point, though.

Krstic, Wilcox, Martin, Jefferson, and Kidd would easily be the most athletic lineup in the league. I think Wilcox would really thrive off of Kidd, and he has a great offensive arsenal in the post, which we sorely need.

If he is sent to the Clippers, I think we would also lose a pick (1st round) for them to absorb his contract. I doubt we could get Wilcox, but a 2nd round pick is more probable.

The Cleveland deal (Williams, Wagner, Brown) would be better for the roster, but a Clippers deal where salaries don't need to match up would be better for Ratner's wallet.
