i dont the clippers would do the deal unless they were getting aaron williams also in the deal, and/or their own number one pick back that denver had given them.

i like Kittles, but if you get Wilcox a bad situation just went to a veryu good situation...Let me rephrase that.It went to a great situation....

One thing is confusing me.Could the Clips swap Wilcox straight up for Kittles???Would there be any cap issues???

Since we are fantasising, lets really hope for the best

The Clips match the offer for Q,trade him a and wilcox for Kittles, and 2 number 1's

Kidd
Q
Collins
RJ
Wilcox

"great situation"? So losing Kittles and Martin, and getting Chris Wilcox and a couple of picks in return is an upgrade? Who's the 2 guard? Who helps Kidd with the quick point guards? What happens to the Nets defense?

I'll admit that Wilcox has some potential and a lot of athleticism, but he's a long way from being a solid contributor on a playoff team.

Clippers are under the cap (way under the cap to make room for Kobe), so the Nets could make the deal. You're dreaming if you think Richardson would be included.

If you believe that the management desperately wants to get rid of Kittles' salary, we could do worse than get Wilcox. We're not competing for a championship this year but in a couple of years, Wilcox maybe become a bigtime player and RJ would barely be in his prime then. Add a more experienced Krstic (and Planinic) and the fact that we'll have some cap space next year, things won't be looking so bad.

Upgrade???maybe, maybe not..Its all hypothetical. What is reality?? Martin is NOT a max money guy, plain and simple. The nets were lucky to get 3 number 1's from Denver.I have said all along,Wilcox is the guy.If you get him,you could not ask for anything more.

Kittles and Max Money Luxury Tax Martin for Wilcox and 2 number 1's???

Ill take it..gladly...

You guys can not have you cake and eat it also....

you probably take a step back this year, but long term Wilcox and 2 #1's could be huge. You are being very short sighted....

And just out of curiousity why is it not within the realm of possibilty for the Clips to match the offer and trade Q???

maybe I am missing something???

I am all for Chris Wilcox but I don't see Clippers having any interest unless, like Portland, they are getting their future first-round pick back. Swapping Aaron Williams for Wilcox may help them next season but overall Wilcox has much more upside and might just be as good next year.

I think the Nets should use another first-round pick to entice the Clippers to take Zo's contract off the book. Not sure they will bite but something like Aaron Williams, Zo, 2 firsts for Wilcox is not a bad deal. This way we actually could use part of the MLE (like 2M) to sign one of the qualify FA left, like Jon Barry, and not go over the luxury tax threshold.

la times reports that clipps are unwilling to trade wilcox at this time, but that NJ still might be interested in trading kittles to the clipps without wilcox involved in the deal.
