I asked something to the effect of:

Mr. Ratner said that the Nets' first priority was to sign Kenyon Martin. However, it seems you initiated sign-and-trade talks with Denver and apparently never made an offer to Kenyon of your own. What'supwiththat?

The only interesting information provided:

Quote:
Eddie Griffin at the present time is still in rehab in Houston. As to when he'll be available to an NBA team, that's still very much in the air. I couldn't tell you how he is at this particular time.

...

Lucious Harris is part of our team now, and unless something changes will be. Brandon Armstrong is interested in getting into a situation where he'll get significant minutes and move his career along. So it's likely he'll be elsewhere.

...

I think if you look at our depth chart at the present time, I think Brian (Scalabrine) is certainly a candidate to start and will be a player to get significant minutes. Brian is a player who has gotten better every year and whose work ethic has been unparalleled. Plus, he's a skilled player. He can hit shots, pass the ball. We look at him as a significant contributor to our team this coming year.
