Telfair and SAR for Kidd is the deal that the Nets should be seeking (after Dec).
That would be a good deal for both teams. Recently, kidd was wotrh more than that, but he is not going to make the current Nets great on his own. A very good PF and an exciting prospect PG would be a pretty good way to continue rebuilding.
This would obviously be the Nets trying to cut payroll as much as possible. They would be smart to get Damon as well, if possible for Mourning and Aaron Williams.
first of all ratner is not sterling. Ratner is just staging a complete rebuild and a move. Id do what he is doing. As for the trade. Its good for the Nets. But if I was the Blazers Id wait to see him play in some games first before I did it.

please Nets trade Kidd for Nash or something !!!!! please !!!
Ick, i doubt the nets would do that. Nash has a HUGE six year contract.

That would make sense. Por has too many PG's anyway.
Telfair is on a rookie deal, would get to play 30-40mins a night, in a couple of years he will be running a Brooklyn squad. Sounds like a winner to me. I'm sure he can throw alley oops to RJ.
Can Let Van Excel And Damon Leave after the season
(if JK is healthy)
Will be a great mentor for Telfair
Give us one the best point guards in the league which we have never had.
Downside-
May never be the same player
Contract
(but would not matter because of the fact is we dont have jason we will have to sign 2 guards next season with low money and we REALLY dont want damon back so there is a upside to that.
