That philosophy is exactly what Ratner's betting on. He's hopin that if he blows up the team to save some bucks while in the meantime have a stinker seasons, it'll be O.K. Cuz there's people who'll put up with it. And still watch.

Not me. I'm tired of seeing the Nets lose. We've been down this path again & again & again & again. How much losing does an owner expect someone to endure??
Is Ratner pulling in the big bucks from me watching the Nets on TV? Not really. If the Nets deal Kidd, their attendance will be in the hundreds. I don't think Ratner is betting on anything. I think he's just a fool.

JKidd brought me to the Nets and I've learned to like this franchise that I once ignored. I am always more of a players-fan and as long as RJ is still here, I will still keep rooting for this franchise. The Nets will always be one of my favorite team because of this. Hopefully this offseason was just fluke and hopefully RJ can bring the Nets to another level.

Man i didn't think my departure would have such an adverse effect on the forum

Things are tough right now for all. We feel kind of like aging baby boomer feeling there mortality...it feels like the good times are gone. I feel sooooo Dan Rather right now.

I think its a wait and see game for most.

Barack Obama from Meet the Press on May 4, 2008:
SEN. OBAMA: Tim, I would--of course I would factor in the possibilities of genocide, and I factored it in when I said that I would begin a phased withdrawal. What we've talked about is a very deliberate and, and prudent approach to the withdrawal, one to two brigades per month...
