Portland is reporting that the Kidd for Rahim talks are heating back up.

Not coincidentally right after a positive evaluation on Kidd's rehab.
I can believe it. I hope not, but it's certainly possible if he's putting a lot of pressure on the Nets.

As reported on KFXX in Portland.
The trade is complete and will be announced within a few days.
There are no other details.

Play ~ I hear that they are saying that the trade is bigger than just Rahim for Kidd. Have you heard this? Alonzo Mourning is said to be part of this deal also, does that mean that New Jersey is going to take back Ruben Patterson?
Has anyone here heard this?

Sorry, now I see that is is Kidd & Mourning for Stoudamire and Rahim. If all are healthy I would think this helps both teams.
Portland gets some star power
New Jersey get expiring contracts for the rebuild.
Something must be up, there are a lot of people chatting about it now. Ah rumors and the season is less than a week away!

Stoudamire and Reef makes sense.
I think that both teams could be successful under these conditions.
Although, what would the Nets have for a center after Zo leaves?

if this is a done deal, there should be a link about it somwhere on the internet...and so far no luck finding that. Once again, I'll believe it when and if it goes down.

It's not a done deal AT ALL. Radio station KFXX in Portland reported Thursday 10/28 that a deal involving Rahim and Kidd was in the works and could be done "sooner than later." They said they got this from a sourse that has told them things recently that have all come to fruition. I haven't heard anything since then that would make me believe it's a done deal.

Yeah, I was reporting what I heard on the Blazer's board.
I've done some talking and I was told the same thing - there is nothing finalized. Of course, that was earlier and I don't know what would be legit to tell me.
Play.

Talks are on going......blah blah blah.....same ol same ol.
I will believe it when I see it, interesting idea for both clubs, but being a done deal this isn't IMO.
