and is one of the most overated players of all time
Man he's bad. He cannot shoot, much less create a shot for himself. The only reason he produced with NJ is because of Kidd. He is a poor man's Stromile Swift. Yes, the Stromile Swift who never gets any minutes.
Yes he can dunk. But he can't get to a dunk unless Jason Kidd is there to lob it to him right in the spot.
He is on a decent Denver team sucking up minutes from better players like nene and Camby. Denver would be better off with cap space and their two first round draft picks.
He should not be starting in this league unless he was on the Bobcats or someone similair (yes I guess the Heat apply).
Also, doesn't he just seem like a jerk? Maybe it's just me but ever since he was in NJ I really get an Aura of dirtbagness from him. I don't know how many other people get this though.
In conclusion, I'd like to say that Kenyon Martin sucks and should be coming off the bench for limited minutes with Denver. It is a shame that he took a great player like Lamar Odom's spot on the all-star team.

Thanks for reading.
I like the way he plays. He always plays hard and with ferocity. I wish more players played as hard as he does.

"I'm no huge fan of K-Mart's game (He's strong, no doubt, and he can rebound, but should he be pulling down fewer clangs than guys like Jamaal Magloire and Erick Dampier? And after the dunks -- which are going to be harder to come by without Jason, by the way -- what have you got offensively with this guy? No real moves to speak of, and a jump shot that goes bump in the night.)"

I wish more players would play smarter and learn some skills... but that's just me. I like passion but not passionate morons.
Classic!

He's been one of the few bright spots on the Nuggets from the 2 games I've seen of them this year. He's not that good of an offense player, but he's better than a lot of players like Ben, Dalembert, who no body says "sucks." And he's a really nice defensive player. He's a good transition offensive player too. J-Kidd isn't a good half court offensive guy but no one says he "sucks."
i agree. he has no post moves and strictly relies on his athleticism. i will admit though he has developed an average mid range J for a man his size though.
and im just gonna bring up that he still has a stuttering problem cause i dont like him.
Though Kidd did make him look better than he really is, he is still a fairly good offensive threat. He does have a decent post jumpshot, and can power his opponent in the post. But running on the break is obviously where he is at his best, and should thrive once Denver starts running.
With or without Kidd, he still brings intensity and is one of the best defenders in the game.

His offensive skills are better than Ben Wallace's. And better than Dikembe Mutombo's ever were. Sure he can't shoot, but neither can Jason Kidd. There are a lot of un-skilled players in the league that rely on athleticism.
People might not like him personally, but he's not a bad player. And with a lot of players in the league that step out on the court and don't earn their money, KMart is at least one who does.

Wow, I didn't know threads like this were allowed.
Kenyon is one of the best and probably the most versatile defenders in the NBA and he worked hard to make himself into an All-Star. Last night while being forgotten by his teammates, he lead the team with 5 assists while committing no turnovers. Add in the 4 steals and 2 blocks to show his overall value.
The guy is a solid citizen, solid family man and has no off the court issues. Yes he is probably too emotional on the court, but it is that fire that allowed him to develop from a boarderline top 100 HS player into the NPOY his senior year. He has made mistakes (KVH, Zo, flagrant fouls), but he has learned from everyone.
