Yeah Nash has a hisatory there, but I would say the level\amount of talk is definitely unusual. Both Nash and Patterson have been involved, just as Stefanski and Thorn have been.

They completed that one weird trade of a pick for cash, which IMO was strange. Nash has been back there a few times and Thorn was out here, huddled before a game with both Nash & Patterson. Yeah it could be a coincidence, but when the frequency of those coincidences starts increasing, I tend to think it is more than just old friends chit chatting.
I've never brought this up before Kmurph, but I happen to know from two very good sources......my ears....what that meeting was about. Without going into too much detail, although basketball related, it wasn't about any sort of trade.

I'm not gonna go into it, and it certainly isn't anything to lose sleep over.

Yea, around RJ and Krstic (BTW i think that no one here knows how to pronounce his name and think its pronounced kristeg. am i right?). if carter is healthy i defenetly want him to be a part of the franchise. if we wont get an immediate upgrade that will turn us into HEAVY championship contenders (and i mean a championship, not an eastern conference championship), kidd should leave. i want to trade him but if good offers wont come, i guess we should keep him till he start playing like the real JK. and i hope it will happen. collins is extremely price-overrated if he got a contract like that. true, there is a C problems for a few years now, but he doesnt worth more than 3 mill a year. salary waste. if we could get baron and magloire for kidd and him, i would be the happiest man on earth. if the clippers rumors are true, than NO want to rebuild and they are willing to get only expiring contracts. we can offer them much more than that. its obvious that a third team must be involved.

No. Chris-tick. Just like that.

The second Kidd is traded is the second we start losing. This team is nothing without Kidd, even with Vince and RJ playing. We have all seen how stagnant our team becomes without Jason, and I, for one, never want to see him leave.

I don't want Baron Davis anywhere near this team, especially not in exchange for the best point guard in the world.

No. kerstits his the real name. listen to a european about how to pronounce european names. its like calling divac divats and not divach like it should be.

i agree that kidd is very important, but his time in jersey has past. his overrated massive salary will block us for years, and our future without him is brighter. kidd is a great player with an unbeliveable effect on the game, but as i said, he have already peaked and i dont see an immediate opportunity to win the title this year. if there were realistic chances of winning it, i would say we HAVE TO keep him. but thats not the case.

are u KIDDING me? baron is the second best point guard in the league WHEN HEALTHY and i know its a big when but i believe he is not an injury prone as discribed and he can play 70+ games in a season. him+magloire will be great for kidd+collins (not directly, with a third team involved.

The announcers have asked him how to pronounce the name. It's pronounced Chris-tick. By the way, didn't you say you're in Israel? That would make you Asian, not European.

It would be utterly foolish to trade Kidd. One, we can't win without Jason. Two, we wouldn't get anywhere near fair value.

Baron Davis is far from the 2nd best point in the NBA. He has a great skillset, but he's lazy and constantly hurt. As I said, I do not want him on the Nets, and certainly not for Jason.

The PA announcer said Chris-titch, so I'm going to go with that.

Krstic and a pick? That's laughable. Nenad is untouchable. The only thing I could see happening is a pick and an exception. I would definitely not mind trading our own 1st rounder for Theo. He would be beautiful starting our fast break.
I don't know, I'd rather see us trade for someone less tall, perhaps even Kenny Thomas we we've seen him healthy for more than 1 season in a row.

It was strange, because we have seen only a few owners join the NBA and start stripping a team to pad their pockets.

Maybe Ratner was even thinking, send KMart for 3 picks, and sell each pick? LOL... Who knows?
