Krstic with a great game

Watched most of the game late last night. I can't say enough about Krstic. He has the total package, he just needs experience.

Frank said after the game that the guys like to get him the ball in the post because they know they'll get it back. He looks for the cutter first, has good court vision out of the post, and has a variety of moves to get to the basket.

On defense, he seems to have good court awareness. When he's away from the ball, he's watching everyone on the floor to see if help is needed. He can get caught sometimes (not being able to recover), but I think that once he adjusts to the speed of the game, those mistakes will go away. And of course, he's a great defensive presence down low. He altered or affected several shots in addition to his 3 blocks.

Couldn't be more excited about this guy. He can be a real frontcourt compliment to the big 3, and as he gets better, I think the Nets may just be able to make due with Collins at the PF.

For the time being, he is. I think they like Veal better coming off the bench, and Krstic and Collins as the starting 4/5 gives them two guys with complimentary skills.

We'll see what happens if they bring in a PF.
