Listen buddy, we appreciate what this guy has done, but that Vince carter died ages ago, over the past week we have seen all the sports stations show this guy's glory days and you see a completely different player, its like watching michael jackson when he was black and not a freak. If you get my drift.
Fact is Toronto fans period, maple leafs, jays or raps have no tolerance for a lazy no work ethic puss*, who has been accused by countless coaches and players to be faking injuries, slacking as much as possible in the off season and dogging it in cuz things aren't going his way.
Bottom line is we are passionate about hard working, dedicated athletes and not spoiled quitters, i don't know if understand that or if your a 12 year old boy who hasn't seen vince since the dunk contest and expect him to be a star. Please dont insult my knowledge of this guy because believe it or not i am the majority in T.O we are all heart broken that the Young kid who the city by storm 6 years ago died.

Quit talking about Toronto.
You don't know anything about the MLSE or basketball in Toronto.

No I'm not a 12 year old kid. Anyways, behind all this, my main point was that I think the Raptors should have gotten more for VC, and fans are fooling themselves if they think they got a good deal.

That is fine. I actually agree with you, i think our rookie Gm might have pannicked. He told reporters that he spent 6 months on this trade and according to extensive research there was no better deal. Take it for what its worth, he wont come out and say, oh yea we just got husled.
However i do believe it was a descent deal, it seems every analyst is saying vince's value is so damn low this is honestly the best deal and that at first glance it is a bad deal but if you think about it, it wasn't a disaster. We save 30 mill, get 2 picks as crappy as they may be at least they are 1st round and can moved around and be used as assets. Or hey we could just pick Haffael Arujoe's again. LOL

they got enough for him he only avg's 16 ppg, shouldn't that be higher if he is great and he's on a horrible team.

maybe VC can move to PF to help with the lack of frontcourt. it's not like he's never played that position before(olympics, all-star game at times). but it's not like nets will have a decent guy at the 2.
i always thought VC and Kenyon looked similar. Will be interesting to see VC suited in a nets jersey.
