Krstic Dominating Okafor
The Nets rookie Center is all over the rookie of the year so far. At halftime Emeka has put up 0 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Nenad already has 11 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks.
*Most of you won't care about this, but this is very exciting for Nets fans. The frontline has been such a big issue talked about lately and Nenad is proving his value. Emeka has been a monster lately, but Nenad is controlling him on both ends of the floor.

Krstic's footwork and tenacity impressed me. Even after he got his shot swatted by Wallace he got the ball back and took it strong.
He's stepping up when it counts.

I hope Nenad keeps it up. A big donut in the points column for Okafor might help Dwight Howard catch up just a tad in the ROY race.

Krstic has just been thrown out of the game. Possibly the worst ejection call I've ever seen.

I actually like what I just saw. Gerald Wallace was over Nenad after a rebound by Krstic. Krstic shows a little mean streak and elbows Wallace to the ground. Gerald comes back raging wanting to fight with Nenad and Nenad just stands there.
EDIT: Horrible call by the refs. They ejected Nenad for something that happens every single game. This is the definition of an overreaction. The refs should be suspended for such a ludicrous call.

I didn't see the play yet, I'll try to catch it on SportsCenter tonight, but I've always been of the opinion that a thrown elbow should be an automatic ejection. There's no place for that in basketball.

He was clearing space for himself, though the elbow might have been aimed. It certainly wasn't even close to being worthy of ejection, though.

But the NBA does not hold that opinion. I've never seen a player ejected from a game for so little.
Watching the play again, a flagrent foul would perhaps have been warrented. But an ejection was just excessive.

I like Kidd's 10 assists better than some center with two syllables and one vowel in his name scoring 13 points.

Kidd has one syllable and 1 vowel in his name. Who cares? Everyone knows Kidd can dish the ball. It's no big story. Nenad Krstic was outstanding tonight. He is the story.

Emeka ended up with another double double, I think his fifteenth consecutive one so far.
