Yeah, I didn't think it was as much Carter refusing to pass the ball, more that he played the way he feels more comfortable. Has he even played with a legit post-up threat since he played with Jamison at UNC? When VC passed, it was mostly on his own terms, the way Kobe does it, rather than within the team offense. Hopefully, over time and practice, he'll fit better into the system because it is a system that's conducive to his game and it'll be helpful to his physical fragility. As Carter learns the system, Kidd's most important role is managing the offense on the court and making sure the post players, especially Krstic, receive their touches.
