I don't think there is any way we go about getting Swift, but he is nasty.

It depends on what Memphis plans to do with him Stro and what he is looking for.
Stro is a UFA this offseason correct?

I believe so...I think he was restricted this year, but then signed a 1 year deal, so he is out of there after this season I'd guess. He wants to start, and he's not going to get that with Pau in front of him.
edit: just checked, he is unrestricted next year...so its just a matter of if he wants to play here/what we can offer him money wise. Sto, Vince, and RJ playing with Kidd...imagine the highlights.

That is true...but maybe the possibility of playing with Kidd, RJ, and Vince, and knowing he will get a lot of minutes...maybe that'd be enough to get him to take that from the nets (I know its a long shot, but we can hope)

Over long term money? I don't think so...
Honestly, if we offer him a 3 year contract at the MLE, lets say a team goes even 3 million over that, over the life of the contract, that's about a 10 million dollar plus difference.

If the Griz feel they are not going to make the playoffs, maybe the Nets can trade an exemption and a pick for Stro.

When does our trade exception expire?

I think we have to use the TE's this season, but I am not 100% sure on that.
