What ever happened to the Nets trying to acquire Jones?

If that fell through, are the Nets trying to acquire any other SG/SF's?

I think Buford's caffeine-free play of late has kept them from looking to deal for a wing player. Apparently, he was going to be released if they made the Jones deal.

Mercer and Planinic should be back in a few weeks, so there really isn't much of a need for another wing.

I realized last night that I had totally forgot about Zoran. When they were showing that video before the player introduction, he was in it and I was like "wait, who was tha....ooooooh, zoran".

But I agree, with Bufords better play, along with Mercer and Zoran coming back, we should focus on getting a big man over getting a player like jones.

Buford has looked good as of late, but he is still too hit or miss for my taste.

Mercer signed with us because he wanted minutes, which I don't think he will get now with VC here.
