M.Redd

Well if nets want keep kidd and we want make him happy here. We should do this We should trade a first round pick this year and one of their trade exemptions for Michael Redd. Bucks might be interested in something like that. Just into he comes back. And if we want we can get Kukoc or Fizer

Are the Bucks suppose to be stupid. Or was that not considered in the trade.

Clearly Redd would help us a lot, however it's unrealistic that we'd attempt to trade for him given that Carter/Jefferson have almost all the 2/3 minutes locked up for the forseeable future.

Milwaukee would laugh and then hang up the phone if Thorn proposed that deal to them.

Second, if we're going to try and trade for a big name player, why would we do it for a position we have filled. Granted RJ is hurt, but before we look for wing insurance, lets fill that gaping hole that is our frontcourt.

First of all, I can't see Bucks trading Redd.

I can't see why they wouldn't re-sign him before the end of his contract.

IF we could get Redd, and that's a big IF, I would rather have him than Vince.

Why?

Although he might not be as good an all around player, he shoots from the perimeter better and is still fast enough to run with Kidd. He will help with spacing alot more than Carter.

And of course, you have all the character issues with Carter...

...
I believe (not 100% sure) that the deadline for signing Michael Redd to an extension has passed. The Bucks have to do it before Oct 31 of last year and they did not. Redd will become an unrestricted free agent only July 1st, 2005.
