Robinson - Vocal Leader
Anyone see the post-game interview with Carter last night? He said that Robinson was vocal in the huddle. He's a vet, but to hear that he was vocal on his first day with the team is great.

Another positive for him....I don't htink he's going to come in and try and cause problems. And the fact that he is already trying to step up and be a leader since he's got the experience, that is a big positive. I mean, this is a guy who has missed the playoffs once in his 15 previous seasons. Someone with that kind of experience is always helpful to have around.

He looked like he's been on the team for a while last night. Still learning things, but the way he was interacting with the guys, you'd think he'd been there for a while. He looks like he wants to be here.

Like I said, Cliffy brings a lot more to the table than what his stat sheet shows. Veteran leadership definitely is one area the Nets can get improve on because Kidd was the only vocal leader and sometimes you need more than one.

I just hope the Nets make it into the playoffs. Because once there, I have a feeling they can make some noise with the like of Kidd, Carter, Jefferson, and Robinson.

Do we know anything about the Kidd - Robinson relationship from their Phoenix days? Didn't they spend like 4 years together?

I believe some one posted that Robinson has been at the receiving end of more Jason Kidd passes than any other player.

Really? Hard to believe.
Anyway Kidd was pretty much an 'equal-opportunity' ball-distributor back in his days in Phoenix because they didn't have a great scoring option. So Cliffy might slightly edged out the other guys. Still, it's a suprised.
