Lindsey Hunter

He dominated Dwyane Wade during the minutes he got and he was the biggest reason to their comeback (eventually they still lost). He got the Pistons from from minus 8 to plus 5 because Wade struggled against him, and we know that If you stop Wade you can stop the Heat. Although he's almost 35 years old he still has a great latteral quickness and he is always in a good position. He's very annoying because he constantly trying to take control of the ball, and that's exactly what I want from my backup PG, along with playmaking and ballhandling skills.

We can't get Hunter because he's under contract. So, I started searching for PG's who can defend well quick and athletic guards and run an offense well. From the draft, I came up with Jarrett Jack and Raymond Felton. Jack is considered a better defender on the college level but I'm not sure how well it will translate to the pro's, since he isn't the quickest player in the world. Felton won't have a problem in the quickness department because he's extremely quick and athletic and he has an impressive bulk for a 6 footer, but he doesn't dominate on defense in college, so it's hard to predict how good of a defender he will be.
From free agency, the 2 top candidates will fit perfectly- Brevin Knight and Chris Duhon. Both are great defenders and good playmakers. The problem is that we can't promise them much playing time/money.

You opinions? solutions?

"I'm going to be one of the best. Nobody's stronger than me. Nobody can really stop me at my position. I can play point guard through (power forward) effectively. And I can shoot the ball and play defense. I have one of the most complete games in the league." -- Ron Artest, the man, the legend.

"They better not put me in the All-Star Game. I won't shoot, but I'll dominate that easy game. I'll be playing hard defense. I'll be foulin'. I'll be flagrant fouling. Everyone will be like, 'What are you doing?'" -- Ron Artest.

Re: Lindsey Hunter

I think Duhon will resign with the Bulls, and I don't think Thorn will use our pick on a PG with such a big hole at PF, unless we acquire another 1st round draft pick.

Re: Lindsey Hunter

Is there any chance that we can bring Brevin Knight?
I think that he would want at least 20 minutes p/ game.
