Re: Workout Madness!
So no Jarrett Jack, Andray Blatche, Channing Frye, Danny Granger or Johan Petro.
I like O'Bannon a lot as a late 2nd rounder or non-drafted camp invite. Good shooter who can also do good things with the basketball. He was great in that WVU game.

Petro's season just ended so there is a possibility that he hasn't scheduled workouts. Have not seen his name anywhere yet. Also, there are multi-team workouts. Nets watched Hodge work out a couple of weeks ago at a multi-team workout in New York.
Plus, there is "The Krstic Fakeout" precedent.

I have an odd feeling that the Nets already know who they want to draft. I have absolutely no basis for this.

Very possible, but with 3 weeks left there is no guarantee that any one player will be there at 15.

Re: Workout Madness!
I hope Dee Brown gets an invite, he will work pretty well in an uptempo pace

Re: Workout Madness!
Krauser and Pittsnogle to work out at NBA pre-draft camp at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. It is going to have a lot more decent players then in the past. This year is very competitive.

Re: Workout Madness!
That last name on the list, Robert Rothbart, I remember he had declared last year...out of high school. He was something like 6-10 180 pounds his junior year. He's an immigrant from Yugoslavia, I believe, settled down here locally, in Norcal. Thought he went to college, guess not took a detour to France of all places.

Dee Brown looks like the second coming of Bobby Jackson to me.

Re: Workout Madness!
What i really wanna know is how was Draftcity.com was so high and right on Ike so much sooner then all the publicity for him came out. When i first read draftcity.com about Ike i was going huh? who's that? but draftcity.com had him sounding amazing. I'm looking at his profile now and it says last updated 3/29/05 thats over 2 months ago!

Re: Workout Madness!
:
June 7, 2005 -- And now the draft workouts for immediate help begin.
The Nets have scheduled workouts for 16 prospects, many regarded as certain first-round picks, in preparation for selecting 15th in the June 28 draft. The first group that will audition for the Nets' hierarchy Wednesday, June 15, includes 6-8 forwards Hakim Warrick of Syracuse and Ike Diogu of Arizona State. The following day, Pittsburgh's 6-10 forward/center Chris Taft will work out.
Two days later, the Nets will bring in Louisville's 6-7 forward Francisco Garcia and 6-7 forward Joey Graham of Oklahoma State, a player one mock draft site projects as going to the Nets. On Monday, June 20, the Nets will bring in 6-9 forward Wayne Simien of Kansas and 6-11 UConn star Charlie Villanueva. Sean May, North Carolina's 6-9 NCAA Tournament championship MVP, will work out on Wednesday, June 22.
Others who will be brought in from June 15-22 include 6-6 Kentucky guard Kelenna Azubuike, 6-4 Rutgers guard Ricky Shields, 6-4 Louisville guard Larry O'Bannon, 6-5 Manhattan swingman Peter Mulligan, 6-10 Serbian forward Marko Lekic, 6-6 Michigan State guard Alan Anderson, 6-8 Niagara forward Juan Mendez and 7-0 center Robert Rothbart of France.
