19th Pick / Jason Williams.
Last I read the Grizzles would shop Williams around, and dangle their pick as the the incentive. Now at the draft, I think we can trade an optioned picked up Robinson, and Mercer for Williams and their pick.
Would it be worth it?
At this point... DraftExpress has...
21) May
22) Villanueva
23) Taft
24) Blatche
28) Lee
Going after their pick.

Re: 19th Pick / Jason Williams.
I get all the Jaysone Williamses confused. Is this the one that was in the motorcycle accident?

Re: 19th Pick / Jason Williams.
No, thats Jayson Williams, he was drafted by the bulls. Jason WIlliams was the white pg who was trades 2 memph from Sac. The thought of 2 rookie PF's scares me come Playoff time.

Re: 19th Pick / Jason Williams.
but there's a chance we're going to sign the other one, right?
Anyway, there's no way the Nets are going to bring in two rookie PFs. I could see them doing it if they want to stash Korolev or pick up McCants.

McCants is tempting but then you could kiss Raja goodbye,

Re: 19th Pick / Jason Williams.
I think if the grizs made that trade they would want talent in return instead of salary cap releif. The numbers may work out but the talent doesn't. They would probably want krstic thrown in. Now if they wanted zoren I'd say go...

Jason Williams is owed 21 million; while Robinson and Mercer would come off the following year. Have you read the rumors they would want to dump Williams and will use the pick to get it done? If so... this gets that done, and lets them resign Watson and start him.

If they were to give up their pick, I'm sure they're looking for more than their potential 10th and 11th men.

Re: 19th Pick / Jason Williams.
To save 14 million dollars (difference in contracts), and trade a guy whom doesn't have the greatest tenure with their media may be worth it.
