And a bargain. I recall having an arguement with someone here on the worth of Shaq. Got less then what I thought (and what was his max), but 25M, close to 2x a convential max deal... but who else effects the game like he does and draws the fans?
The Heat are going to be tough for this Nets team still and for a while now.

Yea Petey I heard about that on the ESPN website and the NBA website...  Miami is gonna be a competitor in the East just with us and a few other teams.

If not, they won't pay him.
When he "retires" he forfeits his contract, unless they have some special written clauses.

How much does he really have left in his tank? Its hard enough getting old in sports when your in shape, but when your shaq and you weight over 300lbs thats gotta be rough on the knees.

If I'm Shaq, I'll ask for more. 25M/yr for Shaq will be a bargain for the Heats.
