^Aldridge is probably going to be the number one pick in the draft, extremely skilled for a big man. I think Infinet is trying to say its going to be extremely hard for the nets to find themselves in that position, hence the nets dont have a chance in getting Murphy according to that sentence

Gotcha. But GS has supposedly made Murphy available. which kinda tells me we have a better shot at acquiring Murphy than at getting the first pick in the '06 draft.

I think in this case, the Warriors and Murphy thing is more to get Artest than Murphy being available. A guess could be is that they include someone enticing like Murphy, who is a nice offensive and rebounding option for the Pacers to consider. For other teams, they may not be interested in trading Murphy to but to get a talent like Artest, they figure Murphy is worth it since they have guys like Diogu, Carpakapa, and others who can fill his void.
