Whats so not easy about taking 30 shots even if it means bad shot selections?

Did you look at the list I posted? The year MJ dropped his career high of 37.1PPG, he didn't even break 30 shots a game.
It's NOT easy.

Maybe he was doing other things instead of chucking up shots, freethrows? averaging 37 ppg doesn't mean you have to take 30+ shots a game.

Re: VC or RJ
I'd take Vince if I had to choose between the two because Vince can flat out dominate a game. RJ is better at playing off Carter and picking his spots.

Once again, Air Fly... can you stop to reread my posts if you are going to reply to them?
Why not look at the list I posted and figure out how many people have taken that many shots a game over a full season?
Btw, Kobe averages more than 10 trips to the line per game as well.
It's NOT easy. If it were so easy... why doesn't it happen every other season? Because it's NOT easy.

Sure it is, looking back at the 60 years of the NBA... you won't think more people would have done it?
Looking at basketballreference.com, it appears that Wilt Chamberlain is one only person in NBA history to ever have done it.
We've seen plenty of years where players on poor teams go for personally glory, and haven't been able to break 30 shots per game.

I looked at list you posted, but are you saying just cuz it never been done before thats why its NOT easy?
But you still havent answered my question, whats so hard about it? Do you take into account that those players are not selfish or ballhogs? And also some of them are not the only ones taking shots compared to Kobe in their team? Like Tmac has Yao, Lebron has Big Z and Hughe, Carter has Kidd and RJ, Wade has Shaq etc.
I find it really funny that you think those players won't be able to take 30 shots game after game but its easier for Kobe to do that....What makes you think they won't?

Mentality. How many Nets fans complain because Carter does pass? LeBron also gets his teammates involved. Look back at when T-Mac was on the Magic, who was he passing to then? Mike Miller and Grant Hill in his suit? This by far kills Kobe's next high for FGA in a season. And as I said this season, they don't compare.
Stamina is another. Throwing up so many shots night after night is tiring no?

Why would I think that? As I said, it isn't done, because one player shooting that much is not typically conducive to a team winning.
Give me free reign and 40 minutes a night, and I'll gaurantee you I could average 40 FGAPG in the NBA. There is simply nothing intrinsically impressive about attempts per game. Attempts in conjuction with efficiency, yes. But there isn't a player in the NBA who couldn't average 30 attempts a night, if asked to.
