All these trade proposals..
But has anyone sat down and thought for a second what would happen if Rod just actually kept the roster as it is? Has anyone thought how far we would go in the playoffs?
It just might happen, alot of people on here it seems to me believe that Thorn's going to make a move, but there isn't a lot out there that we're looking for.
I'm just wondering, because I won't believe any rumors until I see it happen.

Well to be fair, that was after Stern changed the league policy on carrying weapons and KG could no longer distract Zach with his pump, uzi and couple M-16s.

I also believe that there will be no trade. And we'll need a LOT of luck to beat either Heat or Pistons as is.

If this team as it is goes into the playoffs without making any changes, you can be sure they will be making a quick exit in the second round.

Re: All these trade proposals..
Such confidence about a team that beat the Cavs twice, the Heat once and the Pistons once.

Don't underestimate how much better the Cavs are with Varejao back and healthy.

Re: All these trade proposals..
dont underestimate how bad we need a trade for a big. we will continue to be a slightly better then .500 team until we get a big in a trade.
jason collins will not be 100% at any point this year. kidd is clearly banged up and admits his knee is giving him problems. jefferson has had some very disconcerning back problems. carter is vince carter, always a high risk of getting injured, especially taking it to the hole on a regular basis. if any of those 3 goes down for a serious period of time we are going to have issues. our bench is way too thin to make up for the loss and we have proved it in the games that rj and carter have been out of.
even if everyone works through their current injury issues and stays 100% we still lack that one extra big man. that will really hurt us come playoff time. mcinnis and murray are wildcards. hopefully one of the two can emerge as someone frank can trust.

Re: All these trade proposals..
i never thought rod would make a trade, im just hoping. even if we can get a draft pick for marc jackson so we can use that in some type of package. samething with murray. if they cant get legit minutes in a 82 game season, you cant expect them to get time in a 7game series.
as for tractor, what could we realistically expect from him? an originally out of shape guy, who has heart surgery who wasnt played pro ball in months, which hurts his stamina even more. im sure he is healthier weight wise but if we would sign him it would take time for him to not only get back into basketball shape, but to learn our system. so i would assume if we signed him he would be on the IR then when he would be ready to play im not even sure how frank would handle him. i guess tractor would totally push padgett out of any type of rotation unless if we need some type of energy, eventhough frank doesnt always put him in when we could use a energy, hustle play guy. i would think a big rotation would be krstic, twin, cliffy, tractor but with frank who freaking know.s
TT. im for it because it would be cheap. i never totally liked the guy, yet i never totally hated him even after the kmart situation. i just thought he made a complete joke out of himself and i just laughed it off because he is a nobody. yet, he still has potential and i rather see him come off our bench over murray because of his size. if TT ever like wants to use his talent, he could be a very nice player. he has nice length which can help defensively and is athletic. he has decided to be on cruise control during his nba career, but this pickup could only be a positive. maybe playing at home will give him some type of comfort and maybe he will come in with some type of motivation to prove the knicks and bulls wrong (i actually laughed when i said motivation). the big thing is that i want to see the kidd-effect. we've seen kid make players good and make rj,kenyon and revive vince. if we would be able to get TT now im for it, even if they dont buy him out i'd like to try to get him in the summer only if its cheap and not like a 4 year deal.
if tractor and tt are the best rod could do, i wouldnt expect anything more from our team in the playoffs because tractor and tt are basically to question marks.
