This is pretty much what I've thought of this all along. JKidd led a revolt, and it was the right thing to do. People say he's a coach killer, and maybe they are right, but its not like Kidd was wrong about what needed to happen.

I'm surprised that Thorn was the last one to find out about Scott. Regardless, what players want is a coach who can put them in a position to succeed, someone who will be good at scouting the teams, making game-plans, and x and o's during the game. This is why Frank has the approval of the team. He may not be the greatest coach, but one thing he does is work hard to try to put his team into a position to succeed.
