Who's the NBA's best PG? Kidd or Nash?
Hey there ppl. I just registered, been browsing for a while. I feel like i know you all =P
Well im a big carter-kidd fan, and i really like this team. Im from NY, and i also like the knicks =) But to get to the point, Im really tired of everyone saying Nash is better than Kidd. The way i look at it, Kidd plays defense, better court vision, better decision maker, better passing skills and can take over a game without even scoring.
Thats not to mention the triple doubles... Let me know what you guys think!

Re: Who's the NBA's best PG? Kidd or Nash?
Nash by far at this point in their careers. Nash is the best set up guy in the league, although kidd isnt far behind. Kidd has never had a great shot but he is always a triple double threat. I just think Nash has more influence and is the better player at this stage in his career. He can take any swingman and make him good

Steve Nash so far outperforms Kidd on a nightly basis that is isn't even a fair contest. Of course, Nash.

Overall.. its Nash, but for the nets, i'd rather have kidd cuz defense is wat has sparked our recent winning streak and theres few (if any) PGs better defensively than JKidd...

Nash is great, but the Phoenix management and coaching has a lot to with his success. It's unfair to D'Antoni in particular, IMO to give all the credit to Nash.

Define "so far outperforms"...... cuz Kidd so far outperfoms nash on Defensive end... I think nash is better, but to say its not even close is absolutely ridiculous..

Does it matter? We all know Marbury is the best point guard in the NBA.

Re: Who's the NBA's best PG? Kidd or Nash?
Right now I would have to say Nash. He's quicker than Kidd in the half court and he's a better scorer. But Nash has to remain consistent for years like Kidd before even being considered one of the greatest pgs to play the game.

Re: Who's the NBA's best PG? Kidd or Nash?
It is a very close call between Nash and Kidd (and Billups, for that matter).
Each has their own particular set of skills.
I certainly enjoy watching Nash the most, as he is simply electric on offense. Dribbles going backwards almost as fast as he dribbles going forward, and is by far the best shooter of the group.
But everyone will have their own opinion, and that is how it should be.

Kidd in the 2nd half of the season is playing as good as Nash and perhaps better. Though, Nash still the superior scorer.
