NBA Fastbreak on the Suns/Nets game

They talked a lot about Amare not being 100% with examples of him getting blown by on penetrations or slow to react in defensive situations. They said that Kidd was the reason why the Nets have been playing so well because he's becoming his old self again, pre-knee surgery. They noted that Nash and Billups got shut down when Kidd was guarding them. And finally they said the Nets match up very well with the Pistons come playoffs time and might be the only ones who can beat them because they have confidence against the Pistons.

we were one game away from beating Pistons in the playoffs with Kmart. If it wasnt for Kidd's injury, sky was the limit. We have some swagger from that and that is letting us keep detroit in check.

They've actually gotten worse trying to integrate Amare back into the system w/ all the chemistry they've built w/out him but it's only gonna be brief b/c D'Antoni is a great coach & he'll figure things out & Amare will get better as the season goes along.

Re: NBA Fastbreak on the Suns/Nets game

Well they are sing another tune on NBA TV Fantasy Hoops. Kamla says we have no chance at beating the Heat in the playoffs and said we win atleast 1 game, maybe 2 if the Heat are a LITTLE banged up. I tried calling in to remind Kamla that the Nets have been OWNING the Heat this season, but they weren't taking anymore calls. Only high point on Fantasy Hoops was Matt Barry giving Nads HUGE props.
