Zoran Planinic needs to study his old form on tape and restore his mechanics. He needs to relax when shooting. He's a great shooter and he'll get back to form.

Right now his shot is missing the rotation he used to put on it. He's throwing up knuckleballs instead of the accurate rotation shot. Let him study, practice, restore and relax. The rest of his game is helping the NETS and he's doing great overall. Like Jason Kidd, you may not have the best game in one category if your shot is not falling, but there are other ways to contribute. Kidd does it. Planinic is also doing it. Kudos. Good emulation.

My thought on Zoran is that the only clip of him on draft day was him splashing a half court three. They played the same clip over and over. Thorn and Ed must have seen potential in him, we've seen sparks and great adjustment to adversity. He should look for shots to build a rhythm and gain confidence. He definitely has it driving to the hole and either dishing or finishing.

I only caught the second half when the game was pretty much 'in the refrigerator,' but of what I saw, Zoran's shot was off and his game was off. His pass inside to Cliffy was off, too!

I hope he's not trying to play his way out of NJN. I do know he's better than what he showed in the second half.

In any event, I think it's in Zoran's interest to show his best game at all times as much as possible. He's a key reason why the team took off on this streak.

Like Padgett sparking the prior winning streak, Zeke's ability to keep pressure on the D, penetrate, break down the D and create for others or himself has put him in the rotation.

Kidd is rested now and doesn't have to pace himself. Kudos on another blowout win!

Planinic obviously doesnt learn like Krstic that if he has a bad shooting night that he needs to shoot 200 shots and have 100% shooting the next night.

he definetly needs to work on his jumpshot and free throws over the summer. right now he has to continue to slash and draw fouls.

Lets hope Atlanta provides him with some confidence building. He has regressed the last two games. I hope Frank gives him another chance vs. the Hawks.

But remember this, his 11-point outburst in Game 1 of the streak was very similar to Scott Padgett's five three's in Game 1 of the first 10-game streak. It provided the impetus to break out of a slump.
