If it's a draft choice or unproven player coming in, Collins will probably start.
In that case, I would like it if Collins started against teams with important post players (Rockets, Heat), and not against teams with none (Hornets, Sonics). In the regular season, he should generally play 20-25 minutes and get an occasional day off.
No one benefits from rest as much as Collins.
If a solid pro comes in, then I would be extremely happy with Collins available to deploy at any time.
The Nets really need two more big men. One starter or prospect to share time with Collins, and one defensive minded player for the bench.
