Dem Hawks Is Nasty Birds
It's time to roast 'em and clip some tail feather. Too easy to let down after whupping the Heat. Ya gots to demoralize ... demoralize ... demoralize! Remember, too, the NETS are playing ATL to clinch the Atlantic Division.

Hopefully the Nets don't let up in this game.

Re: Dem Hawks Is Nasty Birds
The reason the NETS have such a hard time with the Hawks (as many elite teams do) is that they have comparable, if not superior, talent at every position.
ZaZa Pachulia is comparable to if not better than Nenad Krstic in a raw sense.
Josh Smith is a superior athlete to RJ.
Al Harrington is better than Twin.
Joe Johnson is big-time and rates up there but not quite at VC's level.
Only Kidd is clearly better than Royal Ivey and Josh Childress.
The NETS bench is also more disciplined and deeper on a uniform basis, though ATL has the overall talent edge.
That's why the NETS can be worn down by young 'uns and beaten on any given day if they don't rest their starters.
Overall, the NETS' advantages are better coaching, discipline, team play and smarter execution.
The NETS play better as a unit maximizing their advantages under guidance and direction of Coach Frank with PG-par-excellence Jason Kidd orchestrating the show.
The advantage at PG is where the NETS prevail with Jason's quality time on the floor backed by Zoran and Jacque as the key to the NETS against ATL.
Remember, dem Hawks is nasty birds. They'll poop on ya. Ya gots to poop first and keep on pooping.

Re: Dem Hawks Is Nasty Birds
Scouting Rpt on ATL:
If I were the NETS, I wouldn't look past ATL.
The NETS shouldn't get full of themselves over only their second winning streak of the season. Elite teams sustain such streaks for months.
The Hawks are a talented young team. They have come together and are playing some of the best ball in the league. The teams they've beaten of late include no less than the Champion Spurs. They can easily hang an L on the NETS.
The NETS should vary their tendencies a bit if they're facing stiff resistance and send in waves of fresh subs to spell the starters when they're winded. Ultimately, the NETS must exploit the other team's weakness and emphasize their own strengths to win!!!

Re: Dem Hawks Is Nasty Birds
The Hawks are cool to watch, because they've got some great athleticism. But I want to see the Nets rise above this one and get a win. Make it thirteen in a row.
