Portsmouth Invitational
Anyone following this. I know the other day, in one of Dave D's articles it mentioned Rod and Ed would be there. There are a couple of intriguing players there, personally I am hoping they take a long hard look at Rashard Anderson who according to Draftexpress on the first day was unquestionably the best shooter there.

Lets put it this way, I looked at the PTI box scores as soon as they were available and was refreshing the DE homepage every 5 minutes last night waiting for their report.

Re: Portsmouth Invitational
I am trying to go tonight and tomorrow night. I do know that:
Naval Shipyard 84, Tidewater Sealants 75: Paul Miller (Wichita State) was 8 of 12 from the floor and had a game-high 19 points to lead Naval Shipyard. Jai Lewis (George Mason) and Nick George (Virginia Commonwealth) added 16 points apiece .
Bobby Jones (Washington) led Tidewater Sealants with 18 points .
Portsmouth Sports Club 87, Beach Barton Ford 80: Keydren Clark (Saint Peter's College) 22 points for Portsmouth Sports Club .
CAA Player of the Year Jose Juan Berea (Northeastern) paced the losers with 19.
Here are the box scores

So what do you think about the players, anyone that you think might help the nets

The players that showed the best aren't Thorn's type of draft picks. Barea and Withers are too short for Thorn

Re: Portsmouth Invitational
Normally, it's not where you find first rounders...although Maxiell played there last year as I recall. These guys are mostly second rounders or not-drafteds. Also, there are no international players. Their seasons are not over yet.

Re: Portsmouth Invitational
I'm interested in Justin Willaims. Heard he's similar to Theo Ratliff, even went to the same college. Anyone who's seen him think he could be the athletic, shot-blocking type we need?

Maybe that's good. Maybe he will still be available for the Nets second round pick.

A couple of these guys, if they dominated at the PTI, could play themselves into the first.
