The Kobe incedent with Miller happened in late December.
I find it hard to believe that Kobe grow up that much in four months.

Re: OT: Kobe on Bell "Maybe he wasn't hugged enough as a kid"
All these new quotes from Kobe just solidify Raja's comments about him being pompous and arrogant in my book. He doesn't respect his opponents. He could have easily just passed on the questions and let his play do the talking but he had to come back and take shots at Bell as well just to try and paint himself as the big man and dismiss Raja as a player to the media. As much as he tires to change peoples's view on him Kobe's always gonna be an a-hole, Raja just had the balls to say it.

oh no question about it, Kobe as a person ( outside of basketball) is an a-hole. But he's too damn good on the Basketball court, and he has accomplished so much, you'd think people will give him a pass for what he does/say.

Its all mind games though, Kobe has the upper hand. Raja Bell is the one all pissed off and worked up, I'd say Kobe has done his part quite nicely. He got into his opponents' head

In my book Kobe can be as "arrogant" as he wants. Who cares, why do we as fans care so much about who we perceive to be arrogant, selfish, giving, etc? Just watch the games because the fact is much of what we think we know about athletes is nothing more than what the media wants us to believe about them which isn't always true. I'm sure if you were walking down the street and Kobe stopped you to give you a hug and his cell number you would be his biggest fan and supporter. I don't understand it. Kobe doesn't have to respect his opponent any more than you will to me repsonding to my post in an attempt to make your point and prove me wrong. Kobe can dismiss Raja Bell anytime he wants....who is Raja Bell to be calling out Kobe?

Thats what I was thinking, What is it with role players (at best) calling out all-stars?

Thats the only thing I disagree about in your post. Trash talking is what makes sports so interesting, remember Freddie Mitchell calling out the pats team, heck even more recent Anthony Johnson making some snide comments at Vince. Its what brings intrigue to the games

No doubt Hbwoy, my point wasn't that Kobe should dismiss him literally, but figuratively. Who is Raja Bell as a basketball player to questioning Kobe? In other words as Grandmazter3 said, "What is it with role players (at best) calling out all-stars?" I agree with you, I like it when players talk trash it does add to the game and sometimes it adds some passion that otherwise wouldn't be there.

Re: OT: Kobe on Bell "Maybe he wasn't hugged enough as a kid"
Jackson should load up tonight. Without Bell, who will they throw on Kobe? Marion?
And what? Have the guy in as SG guard Odom? Good luck.

If I were phoenix I'd let Kobe go for his 50+, shut downe everyone else. After all he did average 44 points against them with Bell in the lineup this season
