Re: Treachery Alert!!!
Was that from your appearance on Hardball? Someone mentioned the show, but I never watch TV.

That's sad and pathetic.
I hope whoever the new ownership is, that they turn this franchise around for the better. If it weren't for the Knicks, this would probably be the worst run organization in the NBA.

Well to be fair, that was after Stern changed the league policy on carrying weapons and KG could no longer distract Zach with his pump, uzi and couple M-16s.

Re: Treachery Alert!!!
Okay, here's a little intelligence to chew on.
Aran Smith from NBADraft.net made a gaffe.
He wrote that Rudy Gay has fallen out of favor. He went on to say: "Will Rudy's game come out of the closet [emphasis added]?"
What did he mean by that and was it intentional?
link.

Good, I think we have a positive ID.
However, don't reveal to the enemy (CHI) who it was. In my opinion, it was Umayan. At least, it looked like him.

Good find about what goes on in the murky, shrouded, shadowy world of NBA personnel types before a draft. "Peeping," huh? Good investigative reporting, there!

Re: Treachery Alert!!!
Some more intelligence:
King said guard Willie Green did not pick up a $744,551 option on his contract for the 2006-07 season by Thursday's deadline and became a restricted free agent. Asked whether the Sixers would try to sign Green, King replied: "We're going to do our best."... King said that trade talk throughout the league was heating up with the draft less than two weeks away, and that the Sixers were "talking and listening, but there's nothing that's imminent."... The Sixers will bring in four more draft prospects for a workout on Tuesday. They are 7-0 center Patrick O'Bryant of Bradley, 6-11 forward Hilton Armstrong of Connecticut, 7-0 center Saer Sene of Senegal, and 6-11 forward Oleksiy Pecherov of Ukraine.
Can the NETS send a peeper? I'm sure some on this board would volunteer?
