So when Kidd leaves to sign with San Antonio this summer how will New Jersey do next year? With the Pistons having the #2 pick they will be the powerhouse in the East even though this year they are down 3-0, but for Jefferson to say "Detroit is the most overrated team in the league" is the dumbest thing ever to say because Detroit was back to back Central Division champs, and the Eastern Conference regular season champs, and they barely beat Detroit the first two games of the series. A total of 4 points in two games. That's not overrated to me. If they could get a win in New Jersey today, I could see them winning game 5 and in game 6 I see New Jersey winning, cuz I think it would be hard for Detroit to take 2 from New Jersey in New Jersey.

Burt get a life, your team is the most overrated and Richard Jefferson was not lying. Kidd isn't leaving because the Nets will win the championship and even if the Nest don't win the Spurs won't need Kidd because they would have won with Tony Parker at the helm, so they would have no need for Kidd. He is not going anywhere, he loves playing Maryin and Jefferson. They will probably get another solid player in the draft like Maurice Williams and Kristic might come over too, which would make this team the deepest in the NBA. Not to mention they have really good 11th-12th men in Scalabrine and Tamar Slay

1st it looks like the finals will be the spurs vs nets. If the spurs beat the nets why would the spurs want kidd if they won a championship with Tony Parker, a young pg that will be their for years that wont demand the max and will only get better. If the nets win why would kidd go to the spurs, kidd wants a title if the nets win he will def stay.

Second Jefferson never said that. He said that he never said that and he asked the reporter that asked him about the quote where and when he said that.

And Detroit will be good for years with Darko and Prince seems like will be a good 3. But the nets have 2 2nd year players in their starting lineup and a 3rd year player. They will only get better. Scalabrine works hard and i think eventually he and Slay will work their way into the rotation. In a couple of years thou.
