congratulations to the new jersey nets for making the finals for the second time in a row their a great team but i feel sorry for them next year cause jason kidd will not resign with them and w/o kidd they'll go back to the lottery.

Jason Kidd will be back in Jersey. He has no reason not too, he can get his money in Jersey and this team is built around him. Plus, he's already had 2 eastern confernce championships in two years. If they don't win it all know they will win it all when Motumbo's salary is off the books and they have one more scorer.

Exactly. When Mutumbo's contract runs out, both K-Mart and Jefferson will be in their primes, and New Jersey will be in a positon to sign a huge FA.

Actually no, that is not the case. The only way for the Nets to get a scorer is to trade Mutombo. This is Martin's option year, which means his salary next season will balloon... also the year that Mutombo comes off the books. After that, RJ gets an extension... so see there is no cap space. What the Nets have to do is bundle Kittles and Mutombo to get a scorer.
