Who was talking about KMart?
The Bulls lack front court scoring, as do the Nets. Any time it is a battle of back courts, the Nets match up well.

The Bulls got 26 from Nocioni tonight playing the 4. Deng had 20 pts the last time we met beofre this game. There psuedo power forwards always give us trouble as they are perimeter oriented. Collins and Mikki cannot guard them behind the three point line.

The Bulls have quick gaurds and almost everyone can shoot from the perimeter, something Nets have been horrible at defending. So I don't know about Nets matching up well...

Quick guards, but they are also small.
The Nets made a living posting up those small guards, especially Ben Gordon.

Playing a 3 at the 4 doesn't mean you have a front court player.
The Nets biggest troubles will still come from teams with size that can A) Score in the paint and B) Rebound.
Tonights win was great and the Nets are definitely starting to play better, but for them to make any noise at all...they will have to find someone way to win in the paint.

Exactly. How can we aks Collins, Mikki and the Nets bigs to guard 3s that play the 4 spot? Chicago uses this lineup on a regular basis. That's why we don't match up well. They have smalls who play the big positions to force our bigs out of the paint.

The Nets talent is in their 1-2-3 positions. Any time they play a team where you are playing 4 players consistantly from those three positions, it's going to favor the Nets.

I don't know about being ''back''.
We're winning games at a higher rate than usual,now.
But slacking off then coming back is proof that we can just destroy teams if we just start out strong and focused and maintain a level of intensity for 48 minutes.
