Is Boone the victim here?
Kept hearing how when Cliffy gets back, expect a Boone-CLiff combination off the bench. Boone hasn't played much of late although it could be due to the migraines but I doubt they are sever anough for him not to get even some time. I really hope Boone replaces Cliff in the rotation or at least gets a couple of minutes. He was playing well before the migraines.

Re: Is Boone the victim here?
Don't go by last night's game.
The Bulls have no inside presence, so the Frank has free reign to play Moore and Nachbar as much as he wants. That was exactly the right thing to do.
The Nets desperately need Boone. He will be one of the most important players on the team if the Nets are truly going to be contenders.

He didn't get much time the game before last night either. Hopefully we see more of him against Minny.

Re: Is Boone the victim here?
Robinson is playing really bad. His line drive jumpers never go in. Boone should be the first big off the bench (not counting Nachbar as a big)

Re: Is Boone the victim here?
Thorn said we're extremely thin up front, an injury forget the season. Boone will be needed....barring another player acquisition.

Really looking forward to what Boone can do. He seems like a 13 and 8 guy if he can stay consistant and gets minutes.

If I was the coach I'd be playing Boone, not Robinsom but I'm not the coach so what does it matter.

Re: Is Boone the victim here?
boone is a rookie. Cliff is a 20 year vet who knows how to play defense, and still after 20 years in the league is one of the best big men defenders. Frank is smart using uncle cliff for as long as the man can play. The nets won with defense the other night.

I agree, but Cliff doesn't look too sharp out there; his shot is off, and his feet are slow on D (see vs Chi-town). I think his back is still a bother. The thing saving his PT is his experience. Don't get me wrong, Cliff really should be out there, but I'd give Boone something somewhere because he's not a 20-year vet with a bruised body. Boone will be needed.

Re: Is Boone the victim here?
Boone is a rookie and has 3 years to prove himself. Like cliff he is comming off an injury. Cliff has the experience boone doesnot. Boone wants to become as good as Cliff and if he does he will be a very good player. The nets need to win now so they have to play cliff more. This bad start has given the nets no margin of error here and Frank knows the team has to win now!
Rookies get alot of playing time on average or bad teams but not on teams trying to win championships simply because there is no margin of error. Just win baby!
Worse case seniero boone improves in the off season like wright did. If another big goes down boone will get his chance. He will still play either way but don't expect a ton of minutes.
