I don't hate Carter at all. I wish he would fit better with Kidd's style of play, but I don't hate him. I also don't love him to the point where I put on blinders and don't question things.

Re: This is disturbing
ok vc sucked big time that game but that comment came right after it was said the whole team reviewed the tape of the last moments of the game with lawrence frank. i am thinking frank said vince generally did the right things carrying out instructions from the coaching staff but carter just played a bad game thus the comment. but of course, vc could have answered the question a lot better but throughout his playing career he has not been the one who likes interviews. his responses are often short or he just shrugs...with the exception of that time he got traded to the nets because of his excitement.

dude it maybe cuz the nets kinda relaxed late in the 4th quarter! What he's saying is right, because the energy in the final 2min wasn't there... You gotta just keep playing and not give the opposing team a chance to fight back.

2 minutes? The whole 4th quarter was an offensive disaster. For the game as a whole the defense was outstanding.
They definitely need to address some things. Nothing radical. D'Alessandro went over a whole bunch of things they reviewed that went wrong. For Vince to say "nothing" makes me worry about his state of mind. That's all I'm saying. There are always stock answers to these things that he could have said.

While I don't believe Vince is truly capable of change, I also don't think his statements to the media are entirely indicative of his mental state. VC gives stock responses.

Secret??? I think every coach in the league and their mother knows what the Nets are doing in the last minute of a tight game.

I think what he meant to say is that the bums need to make their shots!

Re: This is disturbing
I agree with the general sentiment of the first post. I have been waiting for Carter to show accountability. The first step is admitting that there's a problem.

Also, interesting comments from Moore:

Mikki Moore, who had a career-high 22 points, said the team got "selfish" and players were looking for their own shots when Sacramento made a run. But the Nets still had chances to win.
|
I wonder who he's referring to.

That Wright is the cause of all the Nets issues!

It's not like he even needed to single himself out. Some general comments about what the team needs to do. Not say "nothing."

LOL if he's refering to Vince he on crack! I think Vince took 2 or 3 shots all of the 4th quarter. Not to mention he created at least 10 open looks for teammates.
