I doubt he did it because he was pissed at Frank for letting the game get away. That would be extremely immature not to mention unprofessional.
I think Kidd just brain farted and didn't pay attention.
As badly as the Nets played, this game came down to not fouling and not calling the timeout. Both of which Kidd has not excuse for not doing.

Re: Where's the veteran leadership? What was Kidd thinking?
Kidd could have signalled to Cliffy (or whoever it was) to not inbound from the baseline. He could also have called the TO when he received the ball. Instead, he passed it to House in the backcourt with 3 seconds remaining. Just totally inexplicable.

Exactly...that's what I'm saying.
Kidd had plenty of chances to win this game, none of which required him to sink a jumper.
Effin' Kidd. WTF I'm so pissed at Kidd right now.

I don't understand how the Nets can be the only team that have inconsistent stars. We can live with guys lie Boki and House having on and off nights because they are role players but we're not winning anything with Kidd making dumb decisions and Vince having hot one night and cold the next.

Re: Where's the veteran leadership? What was Kidd thinking?
all i can say is, we didnt deserve to win the game, mistakes by everyone, kidd is also to blame. mental breakdown are becomming routine for this team as well as our usual meltdowns. that falls on frank for not making sure his players knew to call timeout, if he said it, but no one was listening or heard him, whose fault is it? it also falls on the players for being a goddamn NBA player and not being able to hit a damn ft

Re: Where's the veteran leadership? What was Kidd thinking?
When you hold a team to less than 35% and you shoot over 45% it is unacceptable to lose. That just means you lost the game yourself and that is what the nets did. notice how no one in the nets organization or the media blames kidd for the loss. I mean who was covering Pierce (Kidd). Who didn't foul (Kidd). Who didn't call the timeout (Kidd). WHo shot 1-7 (Kidd). Who sucked for the whole game (Kidd). He better bring it tomorrow, because we need at least one of Kidd or Carter to have a good game. Tonight Carter was ok, and Kidd just didn't come to play.

Re: Where's the veteran leadership? What was Kidd thinking?
the nixs win because they WANT to be in the playoffs, while the nets expect to be handed a playoff berth on a silver platter. I will not be surprised if the nets make the lottery...

Re: Where's the veteran leadership? What was Kidd thinking?
The more I think of it, the more it baffles me why they didnt call timeout on that last possession. There was no way Eddie and Kidd didnt hear Frank screaming on the sidelines.

Kidd has looked funny colors since he slipped and did a split. I would like an MRI doctor..

Re: Where's the veteran leadership? What was Kidd thinking?
This was the first time I've seen Jason be so stupid and inbound the ball so quickly without and thinking about calling a timeout. He was just so out of the game yesterday it was baaaad. Carter didn't really have a great game either but he tried to attack, sadly he was missing easy layups. This loss definitely falls on the stars shoulders
