Where's the veteran leadership? What was Kidd thinking?
Kidd should have known to:
1) Foul to prevent the 3 pt attempt
2) Call timeout before the ball is inbounded
3) Call timeout as soon as the ball is in his hands instead of passing it to House.
Where is Kidd's brain?

This was one of the most pathetic games I have ever seen JKidd play. He missed big shots, turned over the ball like he was allergic to it and just had a downright awful game.
This team is going to be consistently mediocre until the end of the season, squeek into the 7th or 8th spot and get bounced in Round 1.

On that last play where the Celtics tied it up there was 10s left on the clock. Carter was guarding Rondo on the inbound and every other Net was back on the defensive end. The Celtics inbounded the ball but the refs blew the whistle to adjust the clock so the Celtics had to inbound the ball again.
BUT this time for some reason Cliff Robinson came down the floor to apply some pressure on the inbounds. This is where it all went wrong because when the Gomes inbounded the ball to Rondo, Gomes raced up the floor with Cliffy lagging behind chasing him. Gomes went to the corner where Nachbar was and Nachbar left West to get on Gomes but the left West open for the 3.
But I don't get why the players didn't call a time out with 4s remaining.
Can a coach make a timeout call in that situation because Frank was calling for one?

This definitely wasn't a good game from Kidd. Forget him going 1-7 from the field and missing critical foul shots, what's up with him only having 6 asists in a game that went into OT (as well as 4 turnovers). Normally throughout a game kidd will make these signature plays that shows he's putting his imprint on the game. Key defensive play, timely baskets, passes that only he can make. There was none of that this game. Carter didn't have a great game, but you could see he was being aggressive. What the hell happened to though?

Yes he can, and he did but it was lost on the refs because the players inbounded the ball as soon as they could.

The Nets need both Vince and Kidd to have good to great games to have any chance of winning. Whenever one has an off game, its really hard for them to win.

I was waiting the WHOLE GAME for JKIDD to take over ...... Maybe he did not call that Time Out because he (like myself) was pissed at frank for letting this game get away , again.... It never even should have gotten to that point with the proper nurturing of the end of that game by a Professional Coach...

I guess Thorn thinks differently, else he won't have Frank on the payroll still.
