Despite the dynamic duo, the Denver Nuggets have become stale, and George Karl might do something radical about it.

Unhappy with the play and attitude of Carmelo Anthony, the coach has considered benching his star, according to a report in the Denver Post.

Any chance we can bench VC or KIDD or both to make a radical change? The NETS haven't had a shake up in years. Frank needs to experiment. Frank continues to play KIDD and VC major minutes. I believe the young ones like Marcus, Boone, and Adams can carry the load. We may not make the playoffs, but at least they have experience for next year and beyond. I'm really tired of the same old veterans like KIDD, VC, Cliffy, and Collins. Frank needs to make an effort to at least experiment.

Our strating lineup should be:
PG: Marcus
SG: Adams
SF: Boki
PF: Boone
C: Moore

A high energy group that can compete.
This lineup could have beaten the Celts and Phil hands down. It couldn't beat the MAVS, but it could be interesting.

Kidd's Nets

I like Kidd, Williams, Nachbar, Boone, Moore

Kidd the distributor, Williams the scorer #1, Nachbar the slasher, spot-up shooter, Boone the rebounder and Moore limited inside scoring + energy.

Anyone who thought Melo and AI would mesh immediately had to be living in denial. Both of those are about Melo and AI. AI always gives lip service to sharing the glory. He won't. Melo is immature. J. R. Smith is immature.

The Nuggets are what happens whenever some GM thinks he has put together a dream team of all-stars and problem children: failure.

They are the new Knicks.

There is no analogous situation with the Nets.

actually, so far AI has walked the walk. he has been focusing on being a distributor and getting the ball to melo in particular. ive been very impressed with him so far. problem is melo is just doin melo out there. seems obsessed with staying the top scorer in the NBA. he needs to reign it in and realize its more important for him to play tough D and be a good example to the rest of the team. the only way denver can win in the playoffs is to play some semblance of defense.

Have Vince and Kidd come off the bench? That's the funniest thing I've ever heard, not to mention the worst defensive unit this team could possibly put on the floor.

Never came off the bench, I think it'll hurt the team more with Kidd and VC coming off the bench. I doubt either player has ever come off the bench regularly.

I watched some of the Nuggets/Rockets game recently and the Nuggets defense is just HORRIBLE.
