Section 107 REPRESENT
WHAT A CROWD
Although the CAA never got fuller than 80% us fans in 107 held it down.
I'm talkin about "Raptors Suck" chants in the second half
I'm talkin about booing Chris Bosh whenever he touched the ball
I'm talkin about standing room only. WE DID IT RIGHT.
To the guys in row 14, you are my heros
To the little kid behind me who kept yelling "Go back to canada!!" at the raptors and raptor fans, you've got a bright future ahead of you.
To the journalist to came a section over to watch the rest of the game with the loudest section in the CAA, I salute you.
Best moment of the night: About 7 fans from toronto came down to watch the game and had the nerve to make VC Sucks chants. Whoops! After VC had "the dunk" in the 4th quarter every single person from rows 14-20 got RIGHT IN THEIR FACE and let them know that this is OUR house and these are OUR players.
It looked something like this but literally from all angles, top and bottom.
I'll be there for sunday's game too. You gotta come out for this, the playoff atmosphere transforms CAA into nothing you've seen before.

Re: Section 107 REPRESENT
First of all the crowd was great and large...I can not believe that they announced only 17,000+ for this game. I have been to every playoff game the Nets have played going back 15+ years...and this crowd was a top 5-6 crowd.
I was booing Bosh everytime he touched the ball as well. Lets keep that going, Bosh is beyond hatable.

I don't know what you guys mean by "loud", but the arena looked pretty empty to me.
Did they have the artificial crowd noise on tonight?

There were 17,147 out of a possible 20,049 fans in attendance tonight. It was very load at the arena, I was in 113 and we were holding it down too. And no, CAA doesn't make fake fan noise anymore.

Yeah I could hear the cheering from the television broadcast tonight but wasn't sure if it was the fans or arena generated noise. 17,147 isn't bad.

Why do you and other Raptor fans believe that something that happened in 1997 still happens today? It is freaking pathetic that you folks are holding to this like it is some sort of current fact

You would have to be there to understand.
No to the second question.

OMG you were one of them weren't you? Look I'm sorry for getting in your face with about 25+ other people, telling you to "Get da F outta heeeere!" (me typing my interpritation of a jersey accent) but theres no reason for you to still be sore about it
But no really, I pitty any Toronto fan that buys a ticket near me. my voice is shot and my hands were numb from clapping for about an hour after the game.

Because I didn't know they still don't do it. I was just asking.

Re: Section 107 REPRESENT
expect raptor fans to play the "empty arena" card everytime...after all, that's the only one they have...everybody from the raptors board who come here say the same thing over and over again its pathetic...they can't talk about basketball because raptors suck right now...
anayway, there was no reason for the fans in the caa to be loud, the nets made a sleeper out of the game right from the first minute as they trashed the raptors...
