Let us rejoice
and reflect on this last run for Kidd and RJ.
From the sound of it, they will be out of here this summer.
They brought us as close as the Nets have ever come to a championship, and as much success as the Nets will see for a while.
In the end, Ratner will force Thorn and Ed to make the wrong moves. We should enjoy Kidd and RJ for the next 2 games.
Thanks for the memories. I wish I didn't renew my ticket plan for next year.

Re: Let us rejoice
if jkidd and rj are going...vc should go as well and we go into a full blown rebuilding mode...not a half-hearted one...

Re: Let us rejoice
None of us know what is going to happen this summer, let's just enjoy these playoffs and worry about that other when the time comes

Re: Let us rejoice
why are we acting like the team is done? 2 to 3 months ago, I'd have probably agreed with you. Now? they're having a great playoffs, kidd playing like an MVP, avging a triple double and whatnot, and RJ stepping it up. Not to mention VC is benefiting off the play of the other two.
It seems like this team will never escape trade rumors, even with all the success they've been having against the east's "darkhorse" or even "favorite".
I agree that we should enjoy these playoffs, but "two games"? we should enjoy whatever games the new jersey nets basketball team takes part in.
and plus, we're up 3-2

Re: Let us rejoice
Kidd is pretty much impossible to let go. The VC/Kidd combo fills the seats. RJ is the only one leaving imo.

Re: Let us rejoice
Going to be kind of sad to see RJ go. Grooming him on this team from his first season in the league to where he's at now. Really hard to minagine him other then a NJ uniform.

If RJ goes, it may help the team, if Kidd goes it will kill it.
