Eddie House Update?
Sorry if this is a duplicate thread...
But what's the status?
Is he slated to come back anytime soon?
How rusty will he be?

Re: Eddie House Update?
well i saw him cheering on the bench tonight.
last thing i heard, he might be back sometime in the second round.
he was rusty for a while when he came back in the regular season..hopefully he won't be too bad this time.
boy, do we need him.

The Nets may have another guard to add to their rotation for the next round, though how effective Eddie House will be after a month of rehabbing a torn hip muscle nobody knows.
"Eddie just started running," Frank said. "There's no timetable still, but he's making strides."

Re: Eddie House Update?
A hip muscle tear is a tough injury for a guy whose game is mainly based on a lot of sharp off the ball movement in the half court. I hope House makes it back. With his quick release and his abilities to spot up and find seams in opposing half-court defenses, he adds a dimension to the offense that's sorely missing right now, one that becomes even more valuable in the play-offs. Plus, his ability to complement Kidd as a small guard gives the Nets more flexibility in line-ups. House is a poor defender but at least he's quick enough to stay with the small PGs, unlike Marcus Williams.
House would do a lot for the Nets if he returns healthy and gunning. For a guy whose game is based on speed and quickness, though, I'd be surprised if made it back this quickly from a hip muscle tear.
