What kind of last play call was that?
All they did on that last play was iso Vince midrange and didn't really even spread the floor that well and no one moved to get open. They didn't use Jefferson and Carter coming off a screen for a possible catch and shoot or drive and kick. That last play was on Frank.

Re: What kind of last play call was that?
what was wrong with the play- he gave a 'tremendous scorer' a chance to take a smaller, less athletic player, and when they doubled, Kidd saw a wide open 3 for the win

Re: What kind of last play call was that?
As soon as we got the ball in, I literally thought "Ok, let's see how we can **** this one up." And sure enough...
Seriously, worst 4th quarter executing team in the history of basketball.

Re: What kind of last play call was that?
a vince iso on eric snow sounds like a pretty good way to get a good look at a last shot to me.
but the spacing was terrible. no reason for kidd to be in that corner really.

there was nothing wrong with the play, this was the moment of truth, super stars have to rise to the occassion, Vince couldn't even execute the play

Read that with a Bill Walton accent, it's freaking hilarious.

Re: What kind of last play call was that?
It's not an iso when Kidd runs to the wrong side, it is basiclly a free double team with a easy closeout on the shooter.

that play was based upon the fact that vince carter could dribble the ball. back to the drawing board...

Re: What kind of last play call was that?
I asked that question in the other thread.. Usually they spread the floor and VC waits at the top of the key for Moore or Collins to set a screen and pick..
But Frank had the guts to ISO him.. Unfortunately.. VC fails the toughness test once again..

Re: What kind of last play call was that?
The play was designed for Vince. The problem with that play is that it's the same freakin play everytime we are down by a bucket. No surprise. If CAVS have seen the video tape in the regular season, then its' so easy to counter that play. Just put two defenders on VC, and either 1) the ball get swatted from VC's hands, 2) he dishes it out to a player or 3) he makes a circus shot. The end result, the NETS lose.
If you had a different coach, I guarantee that it would be executed differently.

Re: What kind of last play call was that?
I think the name of the play is "Vince **** up #17." I think it was #17, could have easily been any of his other drawn up plays, though.
